  • Do you accept insurance?

Crystal Clear Orthodontics accepts most major insurance providers as well as state Medicaid coverage for orthodontic treatments.

  • Are you accepting new patients?

Yes, we are currently welcoming new patients. Please contact our office to schedule your initial consultation. We offer same-day appointment options for your convenience.
  • Will I ever need to get new post-braces retainers?

New post-braces retainers may be necessary over time. Retainers can deteriorate, become ill-fitting, or get misplaced. Minor tooth movement might also require a new retainer to maintain proper alignment. Regular retainer checks are crucial, and replacement is recommended if fit or condition issues arise. Your orthodontist will determine when a replacement is needed.
  • How often will I need to visit during treatment?

During the course of your treatment, appointments are generally scheduled every 4 to 8 weeks for necessary adjustments and to monitor your progress.
  • How long does orthodontic treatment take?

The duration of orthodontic treatment varies depending on individual cases. Generally, treatment periods range from 12 to 36 months, with more complex cases potentially requiring longer treatment times.
  • What are the benefits of orthodontic treatment?

Orthodontic treatment offers numerous advantages, including improved teeth alignment, enhanced bite function, easier oral hygiene maintenance, increased self-confidence, and a reduced likelihood of future dental complications.
  • At what age should my child see an orthodontist?

In accordance with the American Association of Orthodontists' guidelines, we recommend scheduling an initial orthodontic evaluation for your child by age 7. This allows for early detection and assessment of potential alignment issues.
  • How much does orthodontic treatment cost?

The cost of orthodontic treatment is dependent on the specific treatment plan and case complexity. Our office provides flexible payment options and would be pleased to discuss financing plans during your consultation.
  • Can adults get orthodontic treatment?

Certainly. Many adult patients opt for orthodontic treatments such as braces or clear aligners to enhance their dental aesthetics and overall oral health.
  • Can I still eat my favorite foods with braces?

While wearing braces, it's advisable to avoid certain foods that may cause damage. These typically include sticky, hard, or chewy items. We'll provide a comprehensive list of foods to avoid during your treatment.
